Number 6 on the “About Me” tab says, “People don’t have to be nice. And when they are, they don’t have to be nice to you.” I have an increased appreciation of the saying since first hearing it from a friend, and later a Pastor.
The reality is that you don’t have to be nice to people. But, where is the good in negativity or pessimistic outlooks? Daily, I try to redirect my focus to the bright side. Some days are tougher than others, but I make an effort to do better. This photo is from one of my Random Acts of Kindness. After a simple purchase at a hotel vending machine, the cokes poured out left and right. I didn’t want them all and I could have easily thrown them away. So, why not share? As soon as I wrote the note, I felt good and I instantly began to think of ways that I could start doing this on a weekly basis. Who knows, maybe I can incorporate a random act of kindness each day. That would be awesome.
As someone who often ponders about the future, I ask you, “What is a Random Act of Kindness that you would like to do for someone soon?”
Stay Positive! God bless!
